A Sirius Predicament

Farewell, XM. We hardly knew ye.

Hello, Sirius XM. Now please crawl back into hell where you belong.

Well, I've already decided that I'm going to give it a chance, at least for a little while. If I'm not impressed, then I'll probably go to Slacker, since they're already wi-fi moded and there's a rumor they may go the Satellite Radio route as well.

I'm also quite unhappy with the very sudden change. One minute, I'm listening to Cinemagic and other channels, the next minute, all chaos and hair-pulling as things change all over the place.

I'll give it one month to convince me to stay.

I hear that. Slacker has my attention now, as there's rumors that they're not only going wi-max, but are looking into buying the North America satrad rights from WorldSpace (who has never used them). Granted, so far, Slacker doesn't have all the stuff that XM (or Sirius, for that matter) had, but with several people intending to move that way, things might change fairly quick.

AFAIK, Pandora doesn't have a car setup, and that puts them out of contention with me.
