We observed my birthday today. Still I don't tend to get excited about such things, but Mom made me chicken with dumplings and brownies, which were tasty. She had already told me that my classes were my birthday present, already enjoying those. Dad gave me $30 for whatever I'd like (he doesn't like buying gifts and isn't confident about it);

(As an aside, Dad busted out the "In Christ there is neither male nor female" on me when he was here alone that one time. -_-;; I've since realized that Jesus didn't say that, Paul did, and I'm not sure even he meant what Dad wanted it to. I am armed and ready to do battle!)
Re the incense, you can if you like; I haven't really looked into it to know what kinds or anything like that, but that's the kind that seems like it'd fit on an altar the best.

I bought myself incense too, and a copy of the Tao Te Ching (Kati ended up with that and I've been wanting one). Also got what I needed for my classwork I think. Managed not to get lost in the library, despite a certain temptation. ^_~
