Characters: Diva, Sam Tyler, and maybe Gene Hunt if he wants to crash the party haha.
Location: First Sam's apartment then some suburban mansion? A FANCY ONE I GUESS
Time: A week after this thread
Summary: Diva recieved an invite from a person at one of the socials that she attends to a Winter Ball, and she invited Sam to be her dateescort to the Ball.
Warnings: Unless Gene crashes the party, none ♥

It wasn't so unusual for Diva to get invited to parties on her own, luckily. To humans, Diva was beautiful, charming, and a companion that told other humans of charisma and power to have such a lovely date. However, it was a little unusual for Amshel to actually permit her to go. For small cocktail parties, dinner parties, or small social events, Diva was always told to politely refuse, but for a Winter Ball that was invitation only, Amshel encouraged her to go. That was not so unusual either. Balls like this, Diva knew, only attracted the richest of the rich, the most famous of the famous, and with good reason with a table for 10 costing fifteen thousand dollars as a "donation". Diva had been invited as a guest of one of these tables of ten, as accompanied by an escort, and by Solomon's idea, the Cinq Fleches company had even made a generous donation to the organization in question so that Diva's presence be more known, and more likely to attract the party's denziens to her performance.

For the most part, Diva found these affairs boring. They weren't proper balls like the times of the Russian courts. There was not a full orchestra, the annoucing of every esteemed guest, the finest delicacies of every land, no, a ball was reduced to a fancy party. Because of that comparison, they were, without a doubt, droll. But this ball Diva had been anticipating ever since she had invited Sam. His suit had been made and delivered perfect to the tailor's measurements (and it's cost would remain a mystery) and Diva had even taken the liberty of buying herself a new ball gown (minus the train, of course) to wear to the event. She had even insisted to Nathan on the day of the event that he spend extra time making her hair beautiful, which, after two hours of careful styling, gave her a style that even the most glamourous movie star could envy.

As the limosine door opened to let her step out, Diva was smiling quite cheerfully. She couldn't remember the last time that she had actually had fun at a party, and she was absolutely sure that the winter ball tonight would not disappoint. It would be a lovely night, and they would arrive at the estate just as the sun had started to set. Or, at least for Diva. She vaguely remembered that Sam had said it was summertime for him, so perhaps not pure moonlight. Almost as a reminder of that fact, a cold wind blew to push Diva on her way. She held the stole around her shoulders a bit more tightly as she entered the building to see Sam at his apartment.
