*g* I just... if anyone had suggested Weir/Sumner to me, I would never have given it much consideration (bearing in mind in the "Renaissance AU" he's the captain of her personal guard and a good 30-40 years older than him and so that would just be gross).

And yet, this story is just fabulously hot.
