Moriarty is totally my favourite character in BBC-verse so I always get really excited when I see people tackling him and his backstory and interpreting him in new and interesting ways. I really liked the characters you presented here and how you fleshed out Jim's story from the perspective of others which, I think, is the best way. (I mean, Jim himself could never be trusted to give up his own history, could he? He's too much the unreliable narrator for that -- even if he is the storyteller ;) )

There are a lot of great details in this, you really painted out each and ever scene incredibly well, I loved Matthias a lot because I can totally understand why someone would watch and be fascinated by Jim and what Jim does. All around, it was a great story and I loved it :)
