Mystrade in which Lestrade and Mycroft really adore each other, but there's a problem. For as much as Lestrade appreciates Mycroft, Mycroft can see (via surveillance) that his Greg is infatuated with this collegue of his, Gregson. In fact, he has been for years.
It's not that Lestrade has an affair, it's just the way he acts around the fellow D.I. that Mycroft just *knows*. Another thing that Mycroft sees and Lestrade doesn't is that the feeling is mutual.
So Mycroft does the right thing and says, "Look, you really love this man, and I can see he loves you, too, so just ask him out or something." But he only says that after being angry, sad, melancholy, resigned and had a good hard think about it.
tl;dr Lestrade dates Mycroft but is in love with Gregson since forever. Mycroft lets go of the relationship because he wants Lestrade to be happy with his true love.

"Nah I just- listen, I've gotta go, but. I'll see you later. We should go to the pub soon, yea?"
"What, with your lackeys?"
Lestrade's shy smile, lower lip just caught between his teeth, his eyes crinkling up and that ridiculous flush down his neck. Mycroft has seen it in their best moments but never at this frequency.
Gregson's own is crooked at the corner, uneven like he's hiding something, like he might just let it slip when they're alone in the dark.
"Nah," Lestrade shrugs with a single shoulder, unconsciously imitating the crooked smile. "Just you and me, eh old pal?"
"And when will we have time, Greg?"
"We'll see, Toby, we'll see."Greg leaves the other detective's office; the man's expression turns distant, thoughtful, a touch melancholy. He watches the space where Greg just was

Sherlock/fem!Sherlock. It would be hot. Just think about it. Would they bicker a lot first or just get straight to it? Selfcest in the name of science?
Bonus points if John is like, "I did not know I ever wanted this but ngggggghhhhhh yes."

Sherlock waited a minute before getting up, ignoring John's increasingly alarmed calls. He wanted to make sure John learned his lesson: when Sherlock Holmes said there was a portal to a parallel universe in the refrigerator, one should not be surprised to find a portal to a parallel universe in the refrigerator.
Of course, there was the troubling matter of how he'd created the portal in the first place. He had no idea, but clearly he had, because a female version of him was on the other side and--
John realizes that he can train Sherlock like a Pavlovian dog. Every day that he gets milk, he announces, "...oh, and I got some milk", and then proceeds to ravish Sherlock afterwards. Which leads to Sherlock subconsciously associating John getting the milk with sex.
So after a while it so happens that every time John fancies some sex, he comes home with some milk, and Sherlock would see this and start.... salivating.
I thought about what Sherlock would do if he was shrunk to about the size of a pencil. And all I can see in my mind is him performing a pole dance, using John's cock as the pole.
A Small Experiment

John lay on his back, head propped up so he was looking down his own naked body. He tried not to squirm as his fully clothed flatmate clambered over his hipbone, nearly slipped and slid down his inner thigh, and crawled on all fours towards his junk.
The only thought in John's mind was: Why, why am I so hard? What made it worse was that this new, miniature version of Sherlock was clearly fascinated by John's erection. Once Sherlock's tiny black shoes had found footing in John's tangled pubic hair, he stood examining the shaft closely. He put both hands on the foreskin, gripped it, and tugged downward. John groaned at the sensation

Sherlock is cursed - if he sleeps with someone, this someone is going to leave him and he'll never see them again. This curse can only be broken by his one true love.
Thing is, Sherlock thought Victor Trevor was his true love, but he is gone now, and Sherlock doesn't trust his judgement on who his real love is anymore.
