There is something terribly wrong with this episode and it's staring right back at me but I can't quite name it...

I know. One why would you have the guys go talk to a bunch of middle school girls in the first place? If you want to encourage girls to go into science wouldn't you have the women talk to them. And then the girls in the princess costumes- no.

I know! And the attitude of the guys towards the whole thing. And then that little speech Amy tries to give about looks but only used as a pun. Someone much more articulated than me would explain it better, but my overall reaction to this ep is: UGH.

Don't you just love how Leonard had to bring all the attention to himself in front of the girls in this episode? So his parents forced him to play the cello when he actually hated the instrument, he never wanted to be in the science field but instead wanted to be a rapper like Eminem except with glasses? And then starts to do his own little rap in front of the class? NO....just no. Penny's 'it was a joke...based in real events' stories truly ticked me off this girl is making herself look like a fool, I would've looked at her as if she was crazy too. I'm getting tired of all these sexist jokes, and Howard's comment about big breasts was a little uncomfortable to me. I don't think I'll ever look at Cinderella, Aurora, or, Snow White the same way again, that was just completely unnecessary for the girls to dress up as them, and that sucks cause Snow White has always been a favorite of mine:/ and lastly the episode ends in sex as always T_T lovely...besides Raj and Lucy's date this has to be the worst episode ever.

Maybe it plays better than it reads but it does sound pretty awful. Can Leonard ever do any kind of public speaking without making it about him or his childhood?

Mmmm nah I don't think so, I guess that's one if the things him and Penny can relate to, having a parent who aren't happy with how they came out to be *shrugs*

Gonna go with no on that one.

The guy is in desperate need of validation, and, seriously, it's pathetic.

I have decided to pull a f***shenny and copy, cut, and paste my own material. I posted these comments in the last spoiler link but am too lazy to retype or to come up with anything new to say about this episode. Here you go for those who missed it ( ... )

Didn't Penny take Sheldon on Space Mountain when she took him to Disneyland in S3? L.O.L. Maybe Space Mountain wasn't the ride that he got sick on after all! Hopefully, he was too busy doing other things on the Space Mountain ride that kept him occupied. We will have to pay closer attention to all the pictures she has on her fridge and in her apartment! Perhaps she has kept one as a reminder! ;)`

Hah! I smell a fanfic plot bunny! Though in all honesty, having been on Space Mountain more than once, there's no way you could do anything on that ride but scream as you get whipped and tossed around. :P

So...obviously they do know how to do character development. They just don't know how to do character development for Sheldon ( ... )

The laundry room interaction, I have a few opinions on. I think it is funny that when Amy says he has something they want, his mind immediately goes sexual, because obviously, that's all AFF seems to be about.

This. AFF is all about manipulating and pushing Sheldon into sex, and even my mom called her a sex maniac. ha!

One cool thing I noticed at the end of the laundry scene Sheldon says 'Sometimes I don't give you enough credit, Penny'. Could this be a continuation of the new respect he has for her, since he saw he acting? Its certainly not usual for him to do this.

Sheldon says 'Sometimes I don't give you enough credit, Penny'

That's the understatement of the decade, Sheldon. You and TPTB!

Anyway, not sure if it's suppose to show a building of admiration for Penny as a person on Sheldon's part thanks to the previous episode. With the lack of continuity on this show, I sadly doubt it but we can hope!!

This is wonderful, if not confusing.

I am of the opinion that Sheldon's regard for Penny has regressed the past season or so.

This is not the first time Sheldon has shown respect for Penny. Remember, Kirk cheated, and the look of admiration on his face? And the look on his face when Penny explains his spot to Bernadette, followed by "There may be hope for you after all." These are just a couple of examples of the times that Sheldon has admired Penny.

It is only in the last season or so, (gee is that a coincidence?) that his respect for her has declined. I am sincerely hoping that this is going to be a continuation of new found and sustained admiration for her.
