Wow, you're gonna live by yourself? Oh gosh, I've been there. What I would advice is while YOU'RE ALONE, NEVER DATE ANYONE...DO NOT GET ATTACH TO ANYONE EMOTIONALLY and resolve your own problem on your own. If you have to share a problem, share it with a Therapist. NOT a guy friend. I might be too blunt here and prolly you'd hate me for saying this. But if you are as confuse as you are now, you are incapable of making a "sound" decision. The married couple should RESOLVE their problem "on their own" WITHOUT the 3rd party.
