A couple of years ago I bought a nice Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. In the past my mouse and keyboard usually die due to the cords going bad. Despite that I was hesitant to buy into what must surely be a battery sink, however the battery issue never materialized. In fact the batteries last a long time despite the almost constant use they ( Read more... )

Hate em. For one finding a good one for the left hand nigh impossible. I find em hard to do cutouts in photoshop with a trackball and finally after cutting my tendon in my thumb a few years ago it bothers me to use a trackball for any length of time.

nothing useful on the mouse, but I did seem some great external HDs at Staples yesterday. Western Digital (I think, but not sure). USB linked and powered (so no need for a second cord). Also very, very slimline. They make my Maxtor look like 1986 technology. Not unreasonably priced, either.

I like those USB cable only hard drives but for what they want for a 320gb of one of those I can get a 1gb external with a power cord. Honestly what I need is space more than portability. Music and photos eat up drive space like you wouldn't believe. Add movies to that mix and well it gets ugly fast.

But I'm going to have to bite the bullet for the moment on my hard drive needs and find a mouse/keyboard solution. I don't want to go back to corded but for a decent DPI mouse that's comfy it might be the cheaper choice. We'll see, I need to go to a store and put my hands on em to see if they'll work. I know I sound picky but I spend a lot of time on the computer so I need it to be comfortable and work to a certain standard.
