Thanks for the corrections - it's not being a jerk at all, I really appreciate it, I hate leaving mistakes in the text! You're definitely right about the choking, but "sneaked" is definitely ok, it's just a British vs. American thing (I'm sticking with what I know, that is British spelling, for sake of consistency...)
