Postage worries

Very concerned about whether I'm going to receive one of my grandmother's presents in the post before Christmas. I ordered Encyclopaedia of Orchids for her on the 29th of November and it had to be shipped over here to Fishpond, an Aussie online book shop, from the American publisher. It says it was sent to me last Wednesday from the Aussie

Eep. Yeah I'm still waiting on something too. Hopefully we'll both get our stuffs tomorrow.

My Mum was waiting on a present for me that she said was sent last Wednesday, the same as mine (but different companies) - so that maybe gives us hope that Australia Post are getting through the Christmas mail?

Did yours end up arriving? Mine didn't. Luckily I have something else for that person, so I'll just give them the rest later on.

I was fortunate and it arrived late Friday, so my grandmother unwrapped it today.

What the heck kind of company takes a month to ship something?!? =/

I know, it's crazy!

But I guess had to order the book from the American publisher, so they had to wait for it to be mailed over here, process it in their warehouse, and then ship it out to me. I only ordered from them because they have cheap prices and one of my Mum's friends recommended the company.

But I'm so annoyed now :(.
