Yay, name picking FTW!

See, I told my family this but they were all "oh no, no way are we having rats!"

I've read that guinea pigs can learn their names and tricks, such as spinning in a circle. I'll definitely try to teach them some party tricks :D.

They have such porky little bellies now. The other day they lined up for their veggies :D.

Adorable! I've had many guinea pigs, so if you ever have questions, I can totally help. Nothing's cuter than watching a piggy devour some veg. And good call on taking both girls, they are def very social animals.

That is so helpful, thank you! :D They have really porky bellies now and they have started to line up for their veggies.

We were wondering whether we should put some sort of flea treatment on them.

I'd say it's not necessary unless you notice them scratching like crazy and/or losing chunks of hair. Then something like Revolution would work, or any Ivermectin treatment. And they're so smart lining up! They wheek like crazy at veggie time, I bet. My fave thing is if they ever "popcorn", although the first time I thought my piggy was having a seizure because I had no idea what he was doing. Funny little guys.

Thanks for the advice!

Thank goodness I'd read about popcorning before I saw it because it really does look like they are having seizures!
