There is a Jan term, yes. :) The thing is, I'm not a salaried employee, so while the time off is awesome, it's also time off without pay, which is not quite so awesome.

P.S. this is all sorts of cute. It reminds me of my mother's tree, which is a monument to two childrens' worth of school art projects...all of a sudden I'm kinda sad that this is the first christmas ever I won't be able to see it :(

I firmly believe that cute is the hardest thing to write well (smut being the second). There's such a fine like between heartwarming and unbelieveably cheesy.
