Confessing sins, attending church, saying prayers, etc. are all things that humans who believe in God can do, as well as assume He will listen and take note before they reach the pearly gates to be judged. The rest of God's creatures do not have faith, cannot partake in physical or mental acts of worship, they merely live as God created them.
