According to Freud there are 3 parts to out personality. The ID, Ego, and SuperEgo. The ID making sure all basic needs are met without considering reality, the Ego taking care of the ID's needs while considering reality and the SuperEgo deciding from whats right and whats wrong. That's ironinc. I percieve my Id and superego in the same way. I too believe that the Id is the crooked and it just wants satisfaction weather it is good or bad. I also believe that the superego is like the angel. It tells you what is right or wrong weather it is going to make you feel good or not, it just wants you to do the right thing.
