I made a story and two wallpapers.

Requests:

Preferred Partner (or group): Rodney!
Secondary Partner (or group): Uh...more Rodney? *g* Give me an original character - I just can't see him with anyone else on Atlantis.
Genre (dark, humour, etc): Angst, Hurt/Comfort. But there must be comfort - I'm a sucker for the comfort!

Oh lovely and angsty. Yeah, Carson would be that way, a wild howling highland warrior, wreaking revenge on anyone who hurts the ones he loves. And was that John, bitter that they were back together? Who was it he wanted to comfort?

Well... at first I wanted to write in that John's worrying about Radek but it would have destroyed the mood, I think. So I left it out and just wrote about his bitter smile.
I guess it must have hurt anyone to see Carson like this, almost broken and hurt.
Or John was a bit jealous that this time it wasn't him Atlantis had chosen.
Pick the explanation that suits you most. Or think of something different ;)

I had goosebumps when I read it for the first time, and I have goosebumps now. What a horrible pain it is to believe or to truly lose a beloved one... reminds me of something.

A sequel? Featuring Carson, Rodney and John? *ponders* Why not? Then again I don't know whether it'd destroy the statement the story makes right now... It should be a special sequel then..

Sequel featuring the infirmary, John at Radek's side and Rodney and Carson fussing about each other.
Somehow they all try to get down from the emotional spikes and so on...

This was great. You always wonder what would happen if someone pushed Carson a little too far. He's bound to let that hidden celtic temper out.
