I like this! Especially the image of the three of them huddled together under a snow-covered pine tree, awww. I also like your Jennifer, afraid and making mistakes but doing her best anyway.

Glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for taking the time to comment. As I said, Jennifer sort of took over the story. It was fun exploring her reactions to the situation they found themselves in.

Enjoyed this! I liked the Jennifer voice -- out of her depth but always trying and always such a capable doctor. I really appreciated the vividness of the descriptions of the blizzard, and their tree shelter, and the quiet after the storm. Like this - The night had completely transformed from the raging whiteness to crystal clarity. The storm had passed, leaving the sky clear, the moonlight, bright enough to see without needing a flashlight, cast sharp shadows from the trees around her. It was breathlessly quiet. - felt like I could feel the stillness & quiet.

The art is lovely as well!

Good use of Keller. I liked the portrayal of her as a good doctor despite struggling with the situation and being scared.

The art really picked up the tone of the story well.

While I would never label myself a 'huge' Keller fan, I thought she was a good character that was never used to her full or proper potential. She is a good doctor, and I think we need to see her doing what she is good at despite the situation she finds herself in. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Your observations are much appreciated.

Fantastically lush setting, heart-pounding suspense, painful h/c, characters that shine, and artwork that is stunning... What's not to love with this!!! Kudoes to both of you for taking us on a fast-paced action/adventure journey with a lovely spice of h/c and spot-on characterizations. I enjoyed every minute of the story and the gorgeous artwork!!
