This is your first fic? Yes, please, more! This is gorgeous, just amazing. Because, yeah.

I love the slide into the killer last line. You had me convinced it was Elizabeth right up until then. I read it again looking for the reveal and the subtle hints really are there.

ETA: the person [formally] known as Laura Cadman steadily met the gaze of the blue eyes which had once belonged to Meredith Rodney McKay. I think [formally] should be formerly?

I'm glad that it was a surprise but that the hints were there on the re-read.

I wondered if "pounding through the corridors of Atlantis" would give it away straight off. I re-wrote that three times because Laura goes running before bed to unwind so it is the perfect time for thinking things through but I didn't want to give it away!

And I really like him as well! *shrugs* Ah well!

Most of my other plot bunnies are pretty mean to him as well! I'd been reluctant to publish anything because I couldn't find anyone to beta and was a bit worried. But I was inspired by the challenge and decided to bite the bullet so to speak.

I'm dead chuffed that several people who've made positive comments are people whose stuff I love so *whew*!

Now this last weekend is over I've gained some confidence and I'm going to tweak and publish some more stories.

So thank you very much for your kind words!
