Thanks. There was just a weird thought link in my brain about what would happen if cachexia was something more than physical. What if it was something more emotional/spiritual? Ta da, rather cracked out and weird, but I rather like it.

Thank you kindly. I just had the idea of what if Sheppard was emotionally isolated as well as physically by the time he gets to McMurdo. It would hurt learning to feel again. And McKay would be the only one that could get through.
