Oh. This was just lovely. I loved the quiet dignity of Lya and the practical side of Thor and how they played off of each other so well. Fantastic job of keeping both in character while hinting toward the sad truth of the Asgard race. Just beautiful!

I really wish we'd seen more of the Four Great Races. Then, galactic and trans-species politics fascinate me, in general.

Oh, just lovely. The depth of shared history and the very different worldviews and yet mutual respect. And the idea of the Asgard learning to dream, to hope -- yes.

Also, I am quite fond of Lya's swipe at the Ancients. :)
