Late Summer Tomato Harvest

The garden out back is pumping out sweet, ripe tomatoes at an amazing pace.  Right now, there are chocolate cherry, mortgage lifter, green zebra, yellow pear, red Siberian and San Marzano varieties.  Yesterday, I harvested more than we could eat at one sitting.  Oh, I love problems like this.  :-)

Robert, I must admit I was a bit surprised about what a flavor bomb this was. At the time I shot the photo, I hadn't even tasted the salad yet. It was definitely a case where the result was greater than the sum of its parts.

Try roasting them in some olive oil and tossing with pasta.

YUMMY! I will try that tomorrow for dinner. I'm sure the roasting accentuates the sweetness of the tomatoes. Thanks for the suggestion, Phil.
