That's how I do the glitter ones. Enclosed bones on the side panels and external to frame the glitter parts.
It's looking really nice. Oh all that lovely pattern matching though :( Still, it works well with the black.

Yes it's a shame the original didn't work as it was really nice .. and really I wouldn't sell this even for the cost of the materials, the red fabric has been 'through the mill' and isn't at it's best. It'll be nice with jeans for going to the pub or something tho, so not a total loss. I really like the coutil bone casings - first time i've done them. I cut the coutil on the bias and used pressing rods. Not sure if that's the way one is supposed to do them but they are very smooth and not too bulky.

Was beginning to think you'd fallen off the edge of the world! :)

It has a beautiful shape and I love how the black frames the red fabric. Well rescued! I have 3/4 of a corset languishing in a box which you have know inspired me to look at again. :0)
