Well, behind all their bad-assness, they're all essentially adorable people. I has been surprised by a comment on AO3 that was all, "Oh, I'm so glad Clint wasn't rude to Pepper when they met." And it's like, the idea never crossed my mind... Wish more people appreciated characters being happy in fic!
