In actuality yes. When girls randomly contact a guy and say, you seem cool we should talk sometime, here's my AOL IM name, it's because they think the guy is cute and is hoping for something to come out of it. Girls don't randomly contact a guy on the internet that they think is ugly or "just to talk". If you just want to talk then contact guys that are single, not guys with gfs just to keep things simple.

It's just about respect that's all. No need to get defensive or anything... it's all good.
