Apparently it is live and learn. Someone in the story nearly died in the last chapters yet I refrained, as my beta insisted that it was a good idea and not to do it just to cause a reaction (and to refocus the story)

So instead, the refocussing begins in the next chapter. Though I may never write a pregnancy again.

Brutal. Yeah it's amazing how a mention of a baby can take people's focus away from everything else.
