Psychonauts is fantastic.

Why?

'Cause it's fun.

Remember fun? It's what we used to have before games became all

I just stumbled onto your journal and had to comment when I saw it was about Psychonauts. You've summed it up really nicely - I can't remember the last time I've had so much fun playing a game. (Personally, my favorite part is when I get to rampage through a city and crush itty bitty lungfish 'neath my feet while they yell at me for destroying the puppy orphanage.)

It always makes me sad how few people have heard of it. I've taken to pimping it out to anyone I know who plays video games. Only one convert so far, but it's a start!

"Goggelor, on drugs?" God, I laughed so hard. I love the random conversations and relationships between the kids in the camp. The first time I played pretty much just trying not to die, but I'm playing it over right now to try to reach level 100 and I'm incrediably impressed that I'm seeing and hearing tons of new stuff, all of it hilarious. I love how tertiary characters in this are more fleshed out then the main characters of 90% of games.
