My heart trembles like a poor leaf

Fifth Grade, wow. That's a marvelous, memorable poem.

It's absolutely one of my favorites, if not the favorite. What a way to open the book - it encapsulates the feel of the story perfectly.

And yeah, fifth grade. Jeez. I wonder if he ever wrote anything else.
