Hello, I'm trying to find a fic but google hates me and no matter what i do i can't find the fic, so it's an on going series i think. Sentinels are kwon and jim is sick in the hospital because he needs a guide, jim is nine or ten, then blair is with naomi in said hospital, blair is four or three and then he finds jim, and jim tells him he is too ( Read more... )

which is a favourite of mine although usually I don't care for kidfic. In this one though Naomi is sympathetic. Ten-year-old Jim in Cascade desperately in need of a guide, while in California four-year-old Blair is desperately needing a sentinel.

I like that one too; in fact I like the whole premise. Sentinels and guides unable to bond unless they are innately protective and they are equals. A big plus in a genre where one or the other is usually in a one-down position.

I like it :D. Too bad it's TOO short; which is the main reason for what I LOVE: The Littlest Guide... There's some sort of sequel from this story or that's it?

I'm afraid that seems to be all there is. Cali0cat seems to have dropped out of fandom, which is a pity because I really liked her stories. Even her lj hasn't had anything added to it for months.

I tend to prefer longer stories myself, but there are some short ones that I really like - this being one of them.
