I think I've mentioned this once (or twice or thrice or....) but OMG I LOVE THIS FIC.

*grins* Well, it's basically a giant tribute to YOUR fic, so I'd be very sad indeed if you didn't like it. :D

aaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy...

No words. NO. WORDS.

I still have no coherent response to this fic other than that I love it and I want to knit it a sweater.

*laughs* Thank-you! Inducing incoherence is a sign that I've done my job well. :) Also: "and I want to knit it a sweater." Why do I find this to be the most adorable mental image ever...?

You can talk all you want, but real love is making winter garments from scratch.

This is now my personal canon. It makes perfect sense in a Highlander universe.

"This is now my personal canon." I'm glad to hear it! ...because somewhere in the process of writing this it became my personal canon too and I feel way less arrogant if someone else not-the-author feels the same way. *sheepish grin*

very interesting. I like the way you've treated Yeshua and his reactions to the modern age. More than that, Methos' reactions to his changes are really bittersweet.

I'm glad you found it interesting. :) Re: Yeshua's reactions to the modern age: Like Methos in this story, I used to imagine that if Jesus could see what his follows have made of his teachings, he'd grieving, not angry. But that supposes a truly Biblical Jesus; son of god, basically perfect and all that. Yeshua, the Immortal, is (more-or-less) human, and he's had to live through all the things that people did in his name.

WOW! This makes me want to weep because sadly it's so realistic and it's also beyond awesome. Thank you!

Now I want a sequel another 2,000 years later when the gathering is at hand and Methos faces Yeshua once again, because Yeshua is now kind of mad and really into that plan of his about he being the chosen one to start God's kingdom.

Ah, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Re: your vision of a sequel, you're very much in luck, because sophia_sol finished her rough draft two days ago. :D It's set 100 years in the future, but otherwise the premise is as you say it should be.
