The Stoplamp Switch (That's GM's name for it) fixed it. Thanks. One tip on installation: The switch is adjustable. When I put in it didn't contact the brake lever. It can be adjusted by pulling it out or pushing it in (pretty hard). Good Luck!

My neighbor came over & told me his car wouldn't shift from park cause the whole block thinks I hold All answers. Flattering for awhile but in reality a Neverending hassle. We now have the google, it's evil but grants knowledge as it did on this Aveo. This is a premeditated glitch when an access hole is a built in but it's great they did. The medical industry should be so bold... Thanx for bumping my IQ.
