On the last of school before Winter Break, Angus's core special ed class will be sharing family traditions and having a "Cultural Feast," for which each child is encouraged to bring some type of food, whether from a family tradition or cultural background. Yeah, aside from what's mentioned above, things kind of change from year to year. Maybe that's the tradition! ;)

each family has ITS OWN traditions, and that is good enough. you make what comes from your own family traditions!! clam chowder? omgplz, i would LOVE that!!! as far as the peeps with allergies?

that's their problem to deal with. that sounds cold, but isn't meant to be. if everybody there is cooking something, then there will be plenty for everybody to choose from. soup isn't messy if you drink it from a cup!

I'm just always a little wary about taking seafood places, and actually Angus is the one person in family who doesn't care much for clam chowder. But yeah, even the teacher said don't worry about allergies - they'll work around them. And cups are a great idea! Didn't even occur to me (duh).
