Dance addiction?

I never blogged about Halloween festivities/costumes, or my very nice Thanksgiving week.  Dance is eating into my online time, which is good for me in some ways, but perhaps not so good when it interferes with actual home chores.  Here are the dances I've attended since Thanksgiving (with a couple of other activities crammed in):

Darkover is turning into a relaxicon with some cool costumes and a sound track -- lots of live music, and some very interesting bits. I came in Saturday afternoon and watched part of a 2-hour workshop which had started with teaching how to fight with singlesticks (gentlemen's canes?) and had worked its way down to hand-to-hand fighting, taught by what seemed to be a very knowledgeable guy.

The art show had much of what I've seen at SF con art shows lately and not much new. I bought some books in the dealer "room" (main hall of hotel) and looked at some fun clothes but didn't splurge on any. The Hallelujah chorus singalong at midnight was also fun -- and then I went home.

I'm sure you can stop any time you want. Really.

Until it interferes with work, I don't *think* I need an intervention.

Whee, sounds great! I hope the compliments at least implied you-in-the-dress, not just the dress itself.
I would love to hear about Jade and the Doomed Reporter sometime.

Well, one comment was "Fabulous Dress!" -- which I also enjoyed hearing, because it IS -- but others were along the lines of "you look great", very much appreciated.
