"Freedom: An American Tradition..."

That's what it says on one of my shirts I got from Marshall and Andrew. They came back from their 3 week adventure in the US of A. They also got me the best jumper in the freaking world too, and the only way to explain the brilliance is to show you in picture form:

Yeah, 2 of my best friends went to the Flamings Lips (actually, another friend or so went too) and told me how frigging amazing it was & I've since seen pictures in various street press. So, I'm slightly abashed that I didn't go (I was contemplating it, just out of interest and to be with friends) ...mainly because I know hardly any of their songs. But they seem to make good music, even if the vocals are a little out of tune.
Actually, my friend, who is a massive music fanatic has amassed a HUGE collection of music over the years and been to loads and loads of gigs, reckons that was one of the best concerts he's been to and voted for one of their songs in the jjj hottest 100 of all time. So that's a mighty big appraisal.
