I lurked on eBay until a used Sony Cybershot DSC-H1 showed up, then I grabbed it. For me, it's not the megapixels--I usually have to scale photos down for the internet anyway. It's all about the 12X zoom.
I've always been the same about wanting a ridiculous amount of zoom over megapixels, etc. Just recently, though, I've been using my boyfriend's camera, which has 8 or 9 mp and I aboslutely looove it. I'm also looking at that particular cybershot. I've had two of them and loved them both more than any other camera I've ever had. Are you happy with the camera?

Hi.
My name is Norko and I'm from Fayetteville. Found your journal through the atlanta community, fellow photographer, or in my case a wanna be one. Below are samples from my first shoot. Hope to maybe help each other out and maybe learn a little something, I know I could get a little better

Yay! Added :) Be aware, most of my entries are really stupid, but nearly all of them contain photography. The camera used in most is a 7.1 MP Digital ELPH.
I like the photos from the shoot. The only thing that I'd have donw is add more lighting so it reduced the shadows, but i really like pictures 7, 9, and 10. I seem to always run into the problem of not having a wide or a tall enough background to be able to take pictures from more angles, like in 7 where you can see above the gray paper.
My name is Carly. I live in Jacksonville, Fl. I found you through the found objects community we're both in, and I liked all of your posts a lot. I also think you and your boyfriend are cute and look like fun.
Haha, thanks! We try to be! I'll add you...RIGHTNOW,GO!
My journal's not too long, so I'd suggest reading from the beginning. My info page gives a little background on some of the "characters" you'll meet in my LJ, so feel free to check that out. There are some things, though, that won't make sense unless you read from the beginning. :)
