Prompt: Erik and Raven after the beach/in the Brotherhood. I imagine once the adrenaline wears off, they both crash spectacularly, especially Raven, who has lived a pretty sheltered life up until now. I'd like to see Erik caring for Raven in a platonic or brotherly way; he knows she's young and inexperienced, and he wants to make sure that she stays safe in the Brotherhood. His reasons are relatively noble -- he doesn't just want to use her as a tool or atone for taking her from Charles -- he likes her as a person, and he actually wants to see her reach her potential. But he equally doesn't want creepers creeping on to his Mystique when they go out on a raid (just because she's naked!), and he doesn't want her hurt, and he maybe spoils her a little bit when the others aren't looking. And she makes sure he doesn't get too crazy, and that he has something to eat when they stop in cheap motels, and the first time she cuddles up to him the way she cuddles up to Charles in XMFC weirds him out a little, but he pretty quickly gets used to it.

Should we go get more salad?" Just something about holiday food and being inclusive to non-meat-eaters would give me holiday warm & fuzzies.
(It doesn't have to have like, a PETA lecture or anything, though I wouldn't be opposed if it did ;) Just the idea that food has significance at the holidays even though not everyone eats all the same traditional dishes.)

I imagine once the adrenaline wears off, they both crash spectacularly, especially Raven, who has lived a pretty sheltered life up until now. I'd like to see Erik caring for Raven in a platonic or brotherly way; he knows she's young and inexperienced, and he wants to make sure that she stays safe in the Brotherhood. His reasons are relatively noble -- he doesn't just want to use her as a tool or atone for taking her from Charles -- he likes her as a person, and he actually wants to see her reach her potential. But he equally doesn't want creepers creeping on to his Mystique when they go out on a raid (just because she's naked!), and he doesn't want her hurt, and he maybe spoils her a little bit when the others aren't looking. And she makes sure he doesn't get too crazy, and that he has something to eat when they stop in cheap motels, and the first time she cuddles up to him the way she cuddles up to Charles in XMFC weirds him out a little, but he pretty quickly gets used to it.

Prompt: I'd love a fusion of XMFC and an Edgar Allen Poe short story. I'm interested in how the mutants and their powers would blend with the themes of Poe's stories. Telepathy, shapeshifting, and adaptability seem good fits for hauntings, guilt, and buried secrets.
On the other hand, could be crack. If Erik were put in a pit with a pendulum, he'd just laugh. Basically, I'd love any blend be it through plot, atmosphere, theme, or reference.
