Thank you so much for the compliment. Character development and how people came to be the way they are = two of my favorite things to ponder, and sad as this was, I really enjoyed trying to brainstorm and craft it convincingly.

I can't imagine how it would feel to spend millennia in that kind of pain, be stabbed through the heart (literally) by your own brother, and then have him make it impossible for you to be with the one you love. I feel so sorry for both Sam and Gabe.
