Awww, I really loved this. Especially the idea to tell the story from both their POV's was excellent and worked so well. I feel Buffy's pain about Joyce's death. It's still there after all those years. Yet it is so Buffy to not use the power she has - this time in form of the Vampyre book - for her won personal gain. It's hard to imagine what Fred and Illyria might have gone through during those three years in hell that drove them into the state they are in. And hey, Angel actually did something right for a change and saved them! I am sure the Scoobies can come up with a spell or a rescue plan. Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us <3

Oh my god, this story absolutely melted me! This may be my favourite post S12 fanfiction story of all time (make that my favourite comics-based fanfic of all TIME, and that includes everything I've read by Dactylgirl.) I LOVED IT SO MUCH

This is the post-S12 reunion fic we all needed. It didn’t have a sentence too many, every sentence had an impact, and seeing the scene from both Buffy's and Spike's perspectives was perfect. I loved it!
