Oh wow thank you so much for this comment. I was a little hesitant with this story, because it's been so long. I rewatched the series during lockdown, but writing them again was a bit scary, but I'm also a sucker for fests and challenges so I had to do it.

From the start, I knew I didn't want her to be the damsel in distress. Buffy is a strong woman and I liked to keep that.

I don't like character bashing, which was why I went with Angel and Buffy just moved on and not he's bad. I agree that AtS did him and Cordelia dirty. Maybe one day I'll write a story putting them together. I'm really not an OTPer so the line about him and Spike came naturally, besides being from the show. *g*

I'm Italian but live in NY. Italian men are generally very laid back and she was in Rome. Angel proves the European theory wrong.

Nice role reversal with Spike as Sleeping Beauty! (Pssst, don't tell anyone, but I'm working on something like that myself ;-) I thought it was funny how Buffy kept getting distracted by the Fairy Godmother's clothes while telling her story. I can see that happening! I think it's great that Dawn is going to study medicine, a very useful choice indeed. And I like the idea of them living together in New York. On to the happily ever after!

Oh no, definitely our little secret! I mean it's Buffy. She's strong and a fighter, why would we want her asleep right? I look forward to reading your take on role reversal.

It's clothes, we know how much she likes them, and her poor boots. Thank you for the comment.
