I liked the Drusilla prologue, always enjoy a sympathetic take on the character. :)
It struck me as a little odd that the same music was playing even though it's several years later from their canon meeting. But I liked the fact that Cordy and Oz were still around and that Cordy is single (and therefore not dating Xander, yay!). And of course, some good chemistry between Buffy and Spike. Thanks for sharing!
Verry nice start! Can't wait to see where the next chapters will lead these two, pretty sure I'll like it. And I also liked the incipit with Dru's perspective :) Thanks for sharing!
Okay, first of all, your title rocks. Also, congrats on your first post here! *throws confetti*
Aww, the other commenters were right, that is a lovely Dru POV!
Thanks for managing the Angelus situation, Jenny!
“Oh, you know. A mean cuppa. A good shag. To rip your entrails through your throat. The usual" *nods* As you do.
This is interesting. An older and more experienced Buffy in the same situation.
Ooh, fun fight :)) ...Are they... still fighting, or are they making out? I think even they couldn't tell us which it is, for a hot second there. Good times!
"She was the damned chosen one, hand-picked by the gods to slay vampires, not play tonsil hockey with drop-dead gorgeous blond vampires possessing swoon-worthy smirks." Come on, Buffy! It's the 21st century, and you can do both! \o/
This is an intriguing set-up for a what-if story. I wonder what brought Spike to Sunnydale in this version of events. Just looking to bag his third Slayer? Is Drusilla still with him at this point? And on Buffy's side, not going through the Angel experience has clearly made her a lot more confident and in touch with her own sexuality. I think it's safe to say that more sparks are going to fly!
