Oh, hello, Puppy Spike!! He must be all grown by now

Puppy Spike is a big boy, but still not quite a year old, so there's more room for growth! Unfortunately for Buffy and Joyce!

One thing I liked in this AU was her mom being there for her, and then the puppy and her friends and her NOT running off. I think it will give Buffy a much more healthy outlook on Angel and Spike the vampire, as well. I do worry about Lily, though, and what happened to her in LA.

In the last story they went through this thing of trying to figure out what they were -- enemies, friends ... finally kinda deciding they were friends, but mortal enemies, so clearly they must hate each other. That's where the whole 'Hate you, your friend' thing came from. As this story goes on, they'll definitely reexamine that -- are they friends, enemies, allies ... more? Too bad I haven't gotten it all written yet, I don't know for sure where they'll end up yet!

I love this series! Your OC puppy is fabulously intuitive and not at all susceptible to being bribed with hamburgers.

I love that Joyce is not fooled for an instant by Buffy's handwaving.

Right.

I am intrigued by Spike's theory and waiting to see what happens when the truth comes out about Willow and Xander - or perhaps it's already mostly out? We don't really know what Cordelia or Oz are thinking, yet.

It's all full of thinky thoughts and great fun. I can't wait for more!

Thanks so much! So glad you enjoyed it! I'm making headway on the rest of the story, so hopefully we'll have more answers in the not too distant future. The cat is not totally out of the bag with Willow and Xan as far as Cordy and Oz are concerned, that is still to come.

And Puppy-Spike is absolutely not susceptible to hamburger bribery! haha!

Buffy and the gang will be looking into the Spike T. Vampire's theory about Angel -- Angel will not make that particularly easy.

And Buffy will continue to wave her hands and insist there is no Spike-sparkage ... she may fail in convincing even herself of that, however.
