I love this one! They're all brilliant, but this one just screams "Spike" to me.

Hmm, I think you're right! I was just thinking about that one Hell's Bells scene, but I guess Spike happens to have a typical Spike problem that scene. <3 He'd *like* to be mean, but he loves too deeply to pull it off.

Bravo, Seasonal Spuffy is off to a good start with these! I love how they say so much with so few words. I'm posting from my phone and quoting is a bit awkward, but I think my favourites are the Dead Things and Beneath You ones. They give so much insight into what is going on in Buffy and Spike's minds, both raw and poetic.

I realized that you named the two most personal ones. This probably sounds bad, because they're so angsty, but those were the ones that I tried to anchor in a little bit of BtVS-unrelated feels, in a more or less roundabout way. Glad to hear it worked! <3
