*contented sigh* You made me remember that there could have been other ways their relationship could have developed... It felt like watching early season 6 again for the first time. I'm a terrible canon whore, and content in what we got in canon (though clearly not completely, as I obviously read fanfic to get more time and possibilities with our characters), so that is a sentiment I don't get to feel very often!

I like the canon, too (well, I'm not keen on some aspects of it) - but missing moments are great to fill in the blanks, or put a different spin on things. I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
