Damn you, Knights of Byzantium! But of course happily-ever-afters don't come that easily.

Really enjoyed this! :D

Thank you! Funny how Glory wiping them out barely got noticed in the show, but actually helped the Scoobies a lot.

I loved this. Great job exploring the balance between responsibility and pragmatism. Wonderful conversation between Giles and Spike at the end.

Thank you! And the thing is, while Giles would have called in the Council's wetworks team, it would have bothered his conscience somewhat. So he honestly is grateful Spike took it out of his hands.

Enjoyed this story a alot, and you kept everyone beautifully in character.

As for Spike and Giles, maybe this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship?

Thank you.

Well, a not unsightly tolerance, anyway. *g*

Oh, what a wonderful and believable ending. Heartbreakingly real. He did what needed doing, and it cost him the respect he'd earned from the person who mattered most. Good for Giles. I knew the Ripper wouldn't mind. :)

I don't think she respects his sacrifice any less, but it was a wake-up call that there is this huge ethics gap between them. I think it's possible she might come around to accept that in the future, but it's not easy for her to just accept -- nor should it be.

Thank you.
