Damnit, that was vivid. Jesus. And a very real possibility, I suppose, which many fans seem to ignore or dismiss. There's just so much that I like about this fic, I don't know where to begin. The fact that their relationship survived the drafting was gratifying to see. And the total immersion into the military life (mentioning the abandonment of idol culture was a nice touch). It's just really eye-opening, you know?
Reading this makes me wish I still wrote fic.
