I don't know how I missed when you posted the first chapter but ughhh your words. I love them so much. This whole thing feels very authentic and it's just beautifully written. Good stuff.

LESLIE I FUCKING LOVE YOUR FIC FOR THEM DEAR GOD. You're so fearless about making them dark and slightly dysfunctional and it works so well. I adore this, of course, and how you dont give easy fixes to anything and their feelings are complicated and ugh, so excited to see where else you take it

Holy Guacamole!

Your writing really explores the characters, adding new layers that are (on a psychological level) completely realistic and contain universal truths about love and realationships. Intimacy is a scary thing, even if you are head over heels for someone.
But there are also totally Ben and Leslie...

You write so insightful, dark and deep. With this story it is proven once again: Dark places are awesome.

Also: "moving molasses" - Good lord!

Erm, I am late to the party. By... quite a bit. But I like to think that comments are appreciated anyway... So scully. Let's talk. About how awesome you (and this fic) are. It really feels like something that could happen on the show, you know, if the show were capable of facing this type of topic on primetime network TV, on a sitcom. Which it isn't. But that, my dear, is what fanfiction is for! So, I actually kind of like the way your Leslie can talk about this with Ben, and that Ben can talk about this with Leslie, because part of me feels like, as much as Leslie tries to be feminist and body-positive and sex-positive, she'd still be easily squicked. Which, really, is just an indicator that she needs to read herself some Harry Potter fanfic. Well-written Harry Potter fanfic. (You really have no idea how much more comfortable with various kinks (and sex in general) I am because of fanfic.) But she moves past the squick, and the minor freak-out, and Ben, sensibly, picks up some nostalgia-inducing wine coolers, and as much as they're ( ... )
