I loved this! So many beautifully observed moments, and the shifting point of view really works here - plus, Cadman playing Mary Magdaene for the Ori was priceless!
Hee! I originally wanted an Oscar joke, then realised a reference to an Easter play would be thematically more interesting. *g* Yes, I over-think these things.
Oh, that was wonderful! The details were spot on - from Rodney and John 'accidentally' forgetting equipment to Jack's cameo, and I loved John's slow adjustment to the SGC - and integrating Ronon into his team! The team building aspects with the Atlantis veterans were fantastic.
I'm happy it worked for you! I love working with the larger SG-1/SGA ensemble, so the cameos were fun to write. And I love building on the team-as-family, which isn't just about the four-person team, but all of them. Thanks for giving me the prompts!
Wow. The scope and imagination of this AU was gorgeous and choked full of emotion. I loved the beginning of Ronon's and Teyla's lives, fighting the Wraith and the clever twist that wiped them out. Poor John, his rocky adjustment to being Earthside was palatable and I loved Ronon's transistion as much as Miko and Cadmam's integration into the team.
Just a rich story with a wonderfully hopeful ending. Would love to read more in this verse.
Aww, thank you so much! I'm really glad the AU works for you, and the ascension twist. It was nice to turn my Thinky Thoughts about the Ancients/interference/Ori/godhood into plot for a story.

I'm tempted to write a sequel, but no promises!
