This year, rageprufrock wrote 14 stories for 14 days in February as an awareness activity for women's issues in conjunction with february 14th, V-day (V for Vagina). She's started a community 14valentines for people who are interested in getting involved for next year. The ACT government (one of the state/territories) has just passed legislation to enact civil unions for any two people to join their legal status (much in the way that marriage does).
