Drabble request #1: Ichigo/Rukia

“You seem not as short today.”
“Taller, you mean?”
“Nah, with you, it’s definitely ‘not as short.’”
In retrospect, it was stupid to lean his head down for a better look at her feet. It made kicking him in the face just that much simpler.
“Cowboy boots?” Ichigo asked after their inevitable tussle.
“Your family was watching an American movie, and everyone wore these. They seemed to make it very easy to kick open doors.”
Asking Rukia not to attack whatever door she wanted would have been useless. Ichigo hoped buying her a ten-gallon hat might help it seem charming.
