Believe it or not, the parade of implicit or explicit threats leveled at my person has done remarkably little to improve my intentions toward that woman.

If you wanted your preferences about that little event where she was concerned to have any weight, you ought to have bought her time on your own. As long as you did not, I invite you and your parade of friends to kindly remove yourself from my personal affairs or it shan't bode well for you.

Which is friendlier a warning than I'm normally inclined to give.
