I have yet to find a television during my exploration of Anatole. However, I doubt it would be usable unless we had the correct equipment.

I only found out about them a few day ago, but now I want to see one. I don't know how waves put people inside a box, but it's got to be interesting.

It is a sort of technology. The waves do not actually put people inside of the television. They are filmed, using a camera to capture their images, and the data from that is sent to the television.

Right, okay!

...

What's a camera?

[OOC | HEY AS A SIDENOTE, did Naoto set up her detective agency yet? Because if so, I'll stick it in Mello's intropost.]

I know what a TV is, but I've never watched any. ... I don't know whether we'd have them here, though...

If there aren't any here, someone should invent them!

Invent them? Hm... Who can do that, though?

I don't know! There's probably be someone, though. Maybe there's someone who's really good with machines and things!

[...it's like the network's taunting him.]

I haven't seen a TV. Not like there's any TV antenna around, or even a satellite dish, but considering how many people are around you'd think one ended up here somehow.

What's a satellite dish? And um.... there are antennae on most bugs?

. . .

It's kind of complicated...dude, I know. There's this guy. His name's Souji Seta. Ask him what a satellite dish is. Man, back in school, I got my answers off of him all the time.

All right, I'll look for him!

But I think someone should start working on inventing a television.

The human invention that saps intelligent thought.

We are better off without such a thing.

What?! No one said anything about it sucking out people's thoughts!

Thought-sucking boxes are a serious subject. I've never heard of anything that could do that.

Right, that!

Hmm, no, haven't seen one of those, here.

Too bad, but I guess there's not much room for things like that, what with patrol and work and such...

Patrolling is kind of busy. But it's pretty fun. I haven't actually fought any monsters yet, though. Are you sure they're out there?
